When quarantine started I've had a lot more
time than usual to reflect on what I do and
I wanted to start giving back to my community.
So I started giving some of my time to Hackney Gazette,
a community based magazine. Photographing the
people from the community and telling their stories.

The first story I covered was The Pedro Youth Club
which is run by the former European and British
super middleweight boxing champion James Cook.
His philosophy is teaching young people values
and discipline. He believes youth services like
youth clubs are vital in keeping young people off
the streets and away from violence, drugs and crime.
